The time has come

Today is the last day for myself and many others.
As I move on, I must thank all the people who have supported me when news of my exile became known. Support has been exceptionally warm from Morris County Republicans; I guess they do not know I am a Democrat. 🙂
Showing the malice of corporate insensitivity, I am not being allowed to write a farewell column, so this and subsequent blog posts will need to suffice.

Fred, it’s unfortunate that you won’t be writing a farewell column for the Daily Record. I suppose there is too much “valuable” space on Sunday to accommodate you. Perhaps you could post here what would have been your farewell piece. And I find it not surprising that two of the top 10 articles on the Daily Record website refer to polishing one’s resume. Good luck!
Sorry to see you go, Fred. I retired in October from ANJEC to move to the Boston area as my husband has Parkinson’s and we needed to relocate. The one good thing up here is the Boston Globe., They have full weather page, full newspaper pages, good reporting. I hate to see the NJ newspapers giving up! All the best in your next iteration!!
