State of the State moved up …

Yep, it was set for 2 p.m., but because of the coming snow storm, it will take place at noon.
The governor, you see, needs to get to the airport before the snow starts and jet off to the Bahamas.  🙂

P.S. If  you do not realize it, this is a JOKE

  1. P says:

Watched the speech – Wasn’t bad.

What was comical was the Democrat “Response” by state Sen.Paul Sarlo and Assemblyman Joe Cryan. Can’t the Dems find two people who 1.) Aren’t double dippers, 2.) Don’t look like thugs, 3.) Didn’t spend all morning memorizing their Talking Points and instead, actually listened to the governor’s speech and were prepared to rebut real issues; 4.) Have a plan other than to complain about the governor’s tough choices to close the budget gap???!!!

  2. Ted Doty says:

The Democrats covered mere talking points but Pbrain’s above comment wasn’t memorized talking points?

In this case Pbrain you might have emphasized Christie’s issues and been a little more specific on were the Democratic rebuttal was lacking. No one was swayed by your rant. You simply preached to the choir.

  3. Hey, P — Ted has a point ….

  4. P says:

Ted’s only point is on top of his head.

Ted – Why not offer us your observations, wisdom and insight rather than just trash me?? That’s your MO.

  5. That’s rather harsh, P …. Where’s your civility?

  6. P says:

Oh, and hot off the press, the NJEA offers its rebuttal – http://www.njea.org/news/2011-01-11/christie-s-education-rhetoric-doesn-t-add-up

Again, no idea where the extra money should come from. Just make more contributions to a failed pension system, don’t dare touch our tenure rights, keep kids trapped in the failing schools that employ our members, . . . in other words, SSDD.

  7. P says:

Sorry, I reserve my civility for people who are civil to me. Calling me Pbrain doesn’t qualify.

P.S. And I still haven’t received an apology for being called an anti-semite.

  8. Ted Doty says:

awwww, Pbrain is a helpless victim.

  9. Ted Doty says:

    Oh the humanity!

  10. P says:

. . and so, I will continue to treat the “great one” with the respect he warrants, like something one scrapes off the bottom of one’s foot.
