Guns and school boards

You catch the video of a kook who took a few shots at the superintendent after showing up at a school board meeting in Florida complaining about taxes and his wife being fired.

There is a lot of emotion involved in school taxes and job losses no matter where you are. But thankfully, here in New Jersey it is very, very difficult for someone to get the right to carry a weapon.  That’s comforting.

In 40 States citizens are allows to carry firearms I have heard.
The shooting like the one in Florida is very rare. You may not believe that but it is true. Most residents are not going to knock off people that they do not agree with about politics. Yes we did have a civil war in this country many years ago based on politics, but we are much more enlightened these days.
If only the BAD guys had access to firearms the GOOD guys would vanish.

And now on a lighter note………BREAKING NEWS, BREAKING NEWS: This just in from the Yankees front office. In trying to alleviate the let down caused by Cliff Lee, the new York Yankees are looking outside the common train of thought to get past this conundrum. The Yankees are in currently negotiations with Whitey Ford and Don Larson to get them on board as part of their rotation. Yogi ( hey, not so close, you think i got that insurance) Berra is to meet with Cashman after Christmas pending the retirement of Jorge Posada.
