The governor and Paul McCartney

The AP ran a bizarre story today about Chris Christie apologizing to Paul McCartney after he (Christie) was introduced to McCartney as a “rock star.”

I can see a partisan Republican using such language to introduce the governor, but was that worth a formal apology? I do not think so.

This whole thing certainly sounds like a joke, don’t you think?

Paul could have sang “Till there was you” “yesterday” or “Come together”. But Paul was cool, calm and acted like a gentleman that he is. Christie was just saying that he was no rock star. The truth is he may have a longer life span then some rock stars.
