That right wing ACLU

How many times do you hear conservatives condemn the ACLU? Quite often. But then, the facts get in the way.
Consider that the ACLU is representing the NJ Transit worker who was fired for burning the Quran on Sept. 11.  The way political lines are drawn these days, those who burn Qurans tend to be backed by the right. But the ACLU, to its credit, sees this as a constitutional issue pure and simple … Good for the ACLU ,,.and do you think this incident will cause the right wingers to think a bit? Probably not.
