Jay Webber a rising star?

Yep, that’s what Time Magazine has to say.
Webber, who is state Republican chairman and an assemblyman from Morris Plains, has been selected as one of Time’s “40 under 40 _ Rising Stars of U.S. Politics.”

Webber came on the scene when he challenger incumbent state Sen. Robert Martin in 2003. He lost that race, but still impressed many. He won his Assembly seat in 2007 and had the good fortune to see a fellow Morris County resident _ Chris Christie _ elected governor. It was Christie who made Webber state chair.
