Starve Christie

Yep, that was a bumper sticker I saw this afternoon. As we know, politics is not for those with thin skins …

At any rate, new poll results will be released tomorrow. Here’s a preview. Christie is still on the plus side, but his approval numbers in New Jersey are  below those of President Obama.

That should whet your appetite.

Pure genius. I’m on the edge of my seat!

Bet it was a teachers car. Who did they pole teachers??? Christie is doing what we elected him to do. Keep up the good work Chris!!!

As usual I was not polled. Maybe the reason why Christie gets the thumbs down is because jobless claims are still up in NJ, and people are used to elected officials telling them just what they want to hear.
About the Obama numbers……his high poll numbers in New Jersey could be due to his membership in the Democratic party.
I am still waiting for his plan to create more jobs in the private sector. He has had two years. I guess we will just have to wait. Sadly too many just cant wait.
One would think creating more good jobs would be #1 on his agenda but………….

Fred, I’m a Democrat but this observation is much ado about nothing. The difference between Obama and Christie is 3 percentage points with a 3.5% margin of error.

    Good point, Four Eyes 🙂

You could say either person has better “numbers” since Obama’s positive is one point higher (within the margin of error), but Christie has a better Delta (Positive – Negative) of +7 vs. Obama’s is +5. And Christie’s numbers are improving, whilst Obama’s continue to decline. So it’s Christie by a push.

Note – After people in the suburbs take a hard look at the way the education stimulus money was distributed, don’t expect such high numbers from residents of Morris county in the near future. Relatively speaking, the Abbott districts made out like bandits. By my count, at least 20 districts didn’t even get enough money to hire one teacher with benefits.

The State Aid Formulas must be fixed now.
