The gov. better hope his other campaign trips go better

The governor’s first experience as a rising GOP star has fallen a little short of expectations.
Chris Christie endorsed and campaigned for Rep. Mike Castle who was seeking a U.S. Senate nomination in Tuesday’s Republican primary in Delaware. Castle, as all know by now, lost to Tea Party activist Christine O’Donnell.

    Now we know Christie’s coattails don’t stretch very much beyond his somewhat enlarged posterior.

    The real test will be next year when NJ votes on the whole assembly. Republicans will have to take back at least one house, but the key will be how the state gets redistricted after this year’s Census results are released.
