Delaware gives hope to the Dems

Tuesday’s win by Christine O’Donnell in Delaware’s Republican Senate primary may be great news for Tea Party activists, but it’s even better news for Democrats.

Early polls show O’Donnell trailing Democrat Chris Coons to such an extent that Real Clear Politics, a Web site that tracks all polls, now puts Delawate in the “leans Democratic” category.
If that’s the case, it becomes just about impossible for Republicans to gain control of the Senate this fall

Mike Castle, the man O’Donnel beat, likely would have won the general.
