Appointments for local people

The governor Monday nominated scores of individuals for appointment and reappointment to various state college board of trustees. Some are local notables.
Nominated for reappointment were Vij Pawar to the board at New Jersey City University and Tom Zelante to the board at Ramapo College of New Jersey. Pawar of Morristown heads the town’s legal department; Zelante is former chair of the Morris County Democratic Committee and currently, the county’s first assistant prosecutor.

Also nominated to a seat on the Rutgers Board of Trustees was Mike DuHaime, one of the governor’s chief campaign advisors. DuHaime previously worked for state Sen. Anthony Bucco.

I wonder if any of them will be at the plush Birchwood Manor in Whippany tonight where The Great One is hosting a fundraiser for 3rd district GOP congressional candidate Jon Runyan.

why isnt all of this put on line or issued in a press release so the public gets to see just who is nominated for what and what benefits go with it. in tis time of horrible unjustified public spending, the public wants to know

  3. Jean: There are no benefits that go with these jobs — other than the prestige if you will of serving. These are volunteer positions,.

Again more connected party stiffs get the goods. You pay, you play. Just like business as usual. Too bad nobody cares.
