Nominations for Morris folk; Rochford over Olimpio again

Sheriff Ed Rochford was nominated today by Gov. Chris Christie to a seat on the state’s Domestic Security Preparedness Task Force …

The interesting thing here is that the sheriff will replace Steve Olimpio of Kinnelon on the task force. You remember Olimpio, don’t you? He was the Paterson detective who ran against Rochford in last June’s Republican primary.

Additionally, Mary-Anna Holden, the mayor of Madison, and Morris County Freeholder Margaret Nordstrom were nominated to the state’s Historic Sites Council.

Are these paid positions, and if so, how much?

  2. No, these are unpaid

Congratulations to Sheriff Ed Rochford. Governor Christie could not have made a wiser move nor could he have found a more capable and competent individual for this position.
