Interesting doings in Denville

The township council was poised a few weeks ago to endorse a series of contracts with police and other public employees that would have given them annual raises of 3 percent, 3 percent, 3.5 percent and 3.5 percent in each of the next four years. That contract was pulled at the last minute.
But now _ the contracts are back and ordinances incorporating them are set to be introduced at tonight’s meeting. It will be interesting to see if there are any changes.

Should be interesting to see how they make those numbers work in a Cap 2.0 world. Hope the most junior members of the police force have landscaping practices or other careers to fall back on when they get their pink slips.
