A bear on the loose in Roxbury

Well, sort of.
I was jogging the other morning on Emmans Road and a bear _ a small one _ crossed my path from right to left about 20 yards in front of me. When I reached that spot on the road where it had crossed, I looked into the woods, but couldn’t see it.
As odd as it seems, it was the first time I ever saw a bear in the wild in N.J.
