Christie in Florham Park for fundraiser

The governor will be guest of honor at a fundraiser tonight in Florham Park to benefit Senate Republicans.

In fact, the official beneficiary of the event is the “Senate Republican Majority.”  The funny thing about that is that Republicans are in the minority in the Senate, not the majority.

Oh well, guess you need to be optimistic.

State Sen. Anthony Bucco says,”We feel very good” about capturing the majority in the next election cycle; that would be 2011. The GOPers need to win four seats to do that. Much depends on how redistricting turns out.
