A political post for Palatucci

Bill Palatucci, one of Gov. Chris Christie’s closest associates, has been named a committeeman to the National Republican party.
Palatucci and Christie worked at the same law firm, Dugui and Hewitt in Cranford. Palatucci was a fundraiser for both Bushes, and as such, was able to bring Christie into that arena.
What followed was Christie being named U.S. Attorney, a job he did well enough to run _ and win _ last year’s race for governor.
Palatucci was named by Jay Webber, the state party chairman.
