Had enough? Vote for the incumbent

That’s the strategy being employed by eight-term congressman, Rodney Frelinghuysen, R-Harding.

He has an advertisement on our Web site with a headline  _ Had Enough?

The feeling here is that if one has “had enough,” he or she would be inclined to vote for someone other than a 16-year incumbent. But maybe, that’s just me.

Frelinghuysen is being challenged in the June 8 primary by Rich Luzzi, a representative of one of Morris County’s two Tea Party groups. The ad shows that the congressman is taking Luzzi with some degree of seriousness. He is also ignoring him.

Frelinghuysen refused to visit the Daily Record for an edit board if Luzzi was going to be there.

  1. Tea Party voter says:

The advertisement that I saw, had Pres O’Bama, Pelosi and Reid, with the words “Had enough”

Who knows? I think the ad was PolitikerNJ.com.

  2. The ad may have been on PolikerNJ.com, but it was the congressman’s ad ..

  3. Tea Party voter says:

Is the ad on DR web, have pictures of the D’s

  4. Tea Party voter says:

I think it is you, it is not unusual to run a campaign against George Bush (maybe you will understand by my using this example) you know vote for me and I will fight Bush. Rodney’s message is to fight against Pelosi, Reid and Pres Obama. So that is my rationalization. I can not find his ad on DR. Hope his check cleared
