How good does this tea taste?

I could not help notice the comments by Rand Paul, the winner of the Republican Senate primary in Kentucky. This is for the seat held by the retiring Jim Bunning of baseball fan.
Paul’s victory was seen as a win for the Tea Party movement. Well, you catch Paul’s comments about the Gulf oil spill — suggesting that the administration was acting too tough on BP. He called it un-American, in fact.

Hmm, I guess Rand (Was he named after Ayn Rand) considers oil covered beaches as American as the Fourth of July. The best hope for Dems is  for some of these Tea Party folks to keep talking

you are correct Fred. THe guy just needs to keep his mouth shut. Glad to see you working on a Sunday.

  2. Tea Party voter says:

THe White House response to this tragedy is very similar.

Here’s an example of our very own homegrown TNuts. Anna Little, running against Diane Gooch for the privilege of losing to Frank Pallone in November, announced her support for offshore drilling as long as they are American companies since Americans are more careful than foreigners.

And then there’s Justin Murphy running against Jon Runyan for Congress in the 3rd district primary who thinks one accident in forty years is a pretty good track record.

BTW, the Philadelphia Inquirer endorsed Justin Murphy which just goes to show how embarrassingly ignorant and incompetent Jon Runyan, the handpicked candidate of Burlington County GOP boss Bill Layton, must be.

  4. Keith says:

Runyan joined the Republican party 3 months ago. Dems’ are jumping ship left and right in Burlington County. From Evesham Mayor, Pemberton Councilman, County Freeholder. In the past Runyan has donated only to D’s. Now he wants true conservative to vote for him. He is a Rino!
Justin Murphy is articulate on the issues we face in our times, Limited government, fiscal responsibility, Energy independence. Not just oil, but solar, wind, nuclear, coal to liq fuels, shale, all the above, and a Navy Veteran. He has been a councilman and is an attorney for a solar development firm. What has Jon done…. oh he played football for the Eagles and San Diego. Yea i want him to rep me in DC….. NOT
