Kids ask the best questions …

That’s something Art Linkletter found out years ago … Anywho, in talking to a group of fourth graders today in Boonton, Gov. Chris Christie opened the floor to questions … The first one was about the Chinese Zodiac.
The guv. was puzzled. Then, he was a bit non-plussed to learn that his birth date coincides with the Rat in the Chinese Zodiac. Yep, the rat. Egads.

Christie was on safer ground when asked about his favorite baseball team. It is, of course, the Mets. Christie also said that Jose Reyes is his favorite player.

I concur about Reyes, but I have to wonder when he will next be on the field.

According to Wikipedia and other sources, Gov. Christie’s birthday is Sept 1962. According to this site: http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0002076.html (and others) the Chinese New Year animal for 1962 is the Tiger. Yep, the Tiger.

  4. I don’t know, Mark, you better take that up with the fourth graders in Boonton

Or the DR could improve their news accuracy by getting some 5th graders to provide fact checking 🙂
