Getting out of Rockaway at the right time?

That could be true for Kathyann Snyder, the mayor of Rockaway Borough. She said on Saturday that she will resign her post because she is moving to Pennsylvania.

Rockaway is a small town, but Snyder had been under criticism of late for pushing a new town hall project in the face of resident opposition. It will be interesting to see if a new person in the mayor’s chair changes the dynamics of that issue.

You may want to check your headline, “Getting out of Randolph at the right time”. I think you overlooked the fact that you are writing about Rockaway, not Randolph.

  2. What are you talking about? It says Rockaway and it said Rockaway when it was written

More interesting that even politicians are leaving the State. But that, conceptually, may not be a bad thing at this point

I’m not 100% sure of the power breakdown between the Borough’s mayor and aldermen but I assume the aldermen had to approve the proposed municipal complex. I doubt council votes are entirely dependent on the mayor’s feeling
