Sticking with people you know

Chris Christie today announced four administrative appointments … Two
of the appointees worked with him at the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

They are Jeff Chiesa who will be Chief Counsel to the Governor and Kevin O’Dowd who will be Deputy Chief Counsel.

Alsso appointed was Bill Stepien, a native of Long Valley and more importantly, a Jet fan, as deputy chief of staff.

Rich Bagger, a former state Assemblyman, was named chief of state.

I love this article! You are correct that he sticks with the same people that are from his crystal clear recent past, lol, and you are correct that the most important part is the Jets Fan. I love it and thank you for printing the truth, which is what true journalism is all about. Keep it coming!

Speaking of “Sticking with the Peeps what Brung Ya,” Corzine dumped a list of politically connected people he wants to stick NJ with on his way out the door – http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2009/12/over_objections_of_christie_co.html

Interestingly, one of the “names” is Morris County’s own Honorable John Sette, who was named to the Police Training Commission.

Republicans should use their Senatorial “Courtesy” power to block every nominee that they can. And then, the legislature should outlaw the practice of dumping an outgoing administration’s leftovers on the people of NJ.

Losing an election shouldn’t mean another taxpayer funded job. It’s time for the losers to return to the private sector so they can find out how the other half (i.e., the ones who have been paying their salaries) lives.
