Barack the anti-Christ?

A poll released today by an organization called Public Policy Polling
of North Carolina reports that 8 percent of those polled in New Jersey think the president is the “anti-Christ” and that an additional 13 percent are unsure.

Of course, one has to have some knowledge of Christian theology and the Book of Revelation to even know what the “anti-Christ” is.
And yes, 8 percent who are sure Obama is the “anti-Christ” is a pretty low number. But it’s troubling that there are even 8 out of 100 people who think like that in an educated state like New Jersey.

Then again, to anyone who has seen some of the crazy types at health care reform meetings, the 8 percent number is not surprising. Perhaps next time, the poll can ask if Obama is Satan himself.

Based on statewide tea party outbrusts, I’m surprised the number as only 8 percent.

In the meantime, I applaud President Carter for finally speaking the truth regarding the real underlying and unfortunate issue: Racism.

Like Rush, the anti-Christ believers pray Obama fails, even if their health insurance would improve in the process.

    Divine intervention?

Not sure which is worse, this ridiculous poll done by an organization that only supports Dems, or you citing its dumbest question.

Why not ask – Is Barack Obama the Messiah? If yes, Press 1, if no, Press 2, if you’re not sure, Press 3.

Just another example of the Left trying to marginalize all the people who don’t support Obama’s health care “reforms.”

    Also, here’s an interesting sentence:

“PPP will release numbers tomorrow looking at how Cory Booker and Frank Pallone would do if they were swapped in for Jon Corzine.”

P – You are such an angry man. I feel sorry for you. You must be leading a tortured life.

    I think someone is compensating.

Who cares about these kinds of polls?

Judging from some of the posts I’ve seen on this and other blogs I thought Jon Corzine was the Anti-Christ, Steve Lonegan the Messiah, and Chris Christie the busboy who ate all the leftovers after the Last Supper.

TtT – Wrong, I’m having more fun than anyone should be allowed to have.

P.S. I can’t believe you’ve been reading for very long if you think I’m angry compared to some people such as Mr. Baxter.

Just a snippet from a story in the NYTs –

It is difficult to gauge the extent to which the vitriol that has come Mr. Obama’s way is racially motivated and the extent to which it is simply akin to that directed at his white predecessors.

Former officials who served under President George W. Bush have been quick to recall this week that protesters frequently compared him to Hitler and that the Senate majority leader, Harry Reid of Nevada, called him a “loser” and a “liar.”

In an interview Wednesday shortly after meeting privately with Mr. Obama in the Oval Office, Colin L. Powell, secretary of state under Mr. Bush, said: “You can find pictures where Bush was called all kinds of names, with all sorts of banners being held up and burned in effigy. I’ve seen it in every presidency.”

Mr. Powell said he believed that Mr. Obama might be facing even more apparent hostility but that the blame lay not necessarily in racial bias, but instead with the partisan culture of the Internet and cable news and the way they amplify the more extreme voices.

“The issue there is not race, it’s civility,” Mr. Powell said. “This is not to say that we are suddenly racially pure, but constantly talking about it and reducing everything to black versus white is not helpful to the cause of restoring civility to our public dialogue.”

    Well said.

  10. Ted says:

Pbrain, is anyone surprised that former Bush officials don’t like what was said about their former boss?

Pbrain, yes, those things were said but NEVER in a joint session of Congress AND there was a factual basis for the negative comments.

  11. P says:

Now we are getting somewhere . . “yes, those things were said” . . so is it any surprise that after eight years of people calling the last president every nasty or ridiculous thing that they could, at some point, when the tables were turned, that someone else as equally boneheaded, would say something similar. The only difference is the place. Given the growing level of coarseness, if Bush had stayed in office another 12 months, in all likelihood, it would have been a Democrat yelling at him. As Christ once noted – Let he who is without sin cast the first stone!

And as Colin Powell noted – he believed that Mr.

As far as a “factual” basis for ALL the comments about Bush and his adminstration, I’d recommend going back and reviewing everything before anyone makes that ludicrous claim. People would like to think it all is “factual,” but it isn’t.

Just the same way that the whole “coverage for illegal immigrants” issue is not certain one way or the other. It all depends which language in the many bills working their way through the Congress makes it to passage, how some government agency interprets the language, and how the US Supreme Court eventually decides what the language means. Some time around 2015 we’ll find out who was really “telling the truth.”

  12. Aunt Jemima says:

Look close, Obama has the number 666 on his scalp. Obama is the Great Satan and he was seen lerking around the World Trade Center just before the planes crashed into it and the buildings collapsed. Obama is the Evil One. The Koran even predicts Obama’s coming.

  13. Aunt Jemima says:

What a distortion of the truth. This report should state the truth that 8 percent of the people polled think Obama is not the Great Satan. 92 percent know he is. He has the number 666 on his scalp.

  14. Aunt Jemima says:

Now we are being censored. We now cannot write anything about the Great Satan by name.

  15. Tom Lenox says:

    Stick to pancakes, Aunt Jemima.

  16. Aunt Jemima says:

If a plane was to fly over Washington spraying a Holy Water mist in the air Obama and thousands of people in Washington would scream out in pain as the Holy Water burned their skin off and burned their lung tissues.

  17. Aunt Jemima says:

30 percent of Democrat Marxists beleive George Bush flew planes into the World trade center and they expect the nation to beleive that Obama is not the Great Satan? Obama was able to fly each plane to its target and moments before the impact demonically transport his body out of the plane. That is why Obama does not have a certificate of birth, he is the Great Satan.

  18. Aunt Jemima says:

Democrat Marxists are attempting to surpress the truth about the Demonic Barrack Hussain Obama who is written of in both the Koran and Bible. It is expected that his demonic menions will do anything to protect their Prince of Darkness, Obama the Great Satan.

  19. Aunt Jemima says:

The Demonic Democrat Minions tried to surpress the truth about ACORN but the truth came out. Now they are going to try to do the same thing to protect their Obama, the unborn Prince of Darkness.

It’s ok Aunt Jemima! Nurse Ratched isn’t going to make you miss the World Series.

At first, I thought this story was another great “Warped Culture” piece that somehow made it into the wrong blog site. It did raise some serious questions, however: Why is an outfit from NC polling people from NJ? Why would any real polling outfit ask such a ridiculous question? Does Satan really support healthcare reform? If so, how will John Boehner square that with him? Who is “Aunt Jemima” –a local GOP personality in drag? The whole story makes one’s hair hurt…looking forward to “the rapture.”

  22. Riva Nakada says:

I am pleased byhearing Barack and Michelle speak, although I don’t necessarily followeverythingthey are saying!
