More on Christie and Rove

Appearing in Dover this afternoon to talk about the poor economy, Christie was asked again about his talks with Karl Rove. He said just about the only tangible advice Rove gave him was to hire Mike DuHaime to run his campaign ..

Christie did that, but he said he knew about DuHaime without Rove’s help.

DuHaime’s father, Richard, was a Passaic County freeholder and past candidate for U.S. Senate. The younger DuHaime worked for state Sen. Anthony R. Bucco in 1997 before moving on to Washington.  Of course, DuHaime is trying to break a losing streak of sorts. Last year, he worked on the presidential campaigns of John McCain and before that, Rudy Giuliani.
