Governor's race and the Sierra Club

The state chapter of the Sierra Club has scheduled a press conference for this afternoon in Trenton to make an endorsement in the race for governor… The endorsement will take place at 12:30 on the steps of the StateHouse in Trenton  …

Well, it’s not going to be Chris Christie, who is going to be in Dover at 12:45 this afternoon and the Sierra Club just gave Gov. Jon Corzine a lousy review …  Maybe, the club will endorse Chris Daggett, the independent.

And so they did. This cannot be helpful to Corzine since the Sierra Club members have to be part of his core constituency. Looks like Daggett’s numbers may be going up, but only at Corzine’s expense.
