Newt coming to Morris

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich will be the featured guest at a Republican party fundraiser at the Montville home of Sal and Lisa LoBiondo on July 24 …

The cost is pretty steep … $1,000 for cocktails; $5,000 for a dinner that will include filet mignon and cedar-planked salmon,

Republicans with good memories will remember that Gingrich visited Morris County on behalf of Rep. Dean A. Gallo, R-Parsippany, in 1994.

Will you be a guest and reporting on the event?

  2. Hogwash11 says:

This is very nice but they forgot to tell the anyone in Morris County. I guess that Webber doen’t need Morris County anymore, he is working on a higher scale. You all watch out for the bones in that fish

  3. Ken Bank says:

Considering how quick Newt was to condemn Sonia Sotomayor for “racist” comments I wonder what he would say if someone asks him about 3rd district GOP Assembly candidate Lee Lucas, who has been asked by GOP leaders in South Jersey to step down for making racial slurs.

For that matter it will be interesting to see if Christie has anything to say about it.

  4. Will I attend and report? If I am allowed in, Yes.

Fundraisers are private gathering and outsiders are not always permitted to attend … It depends mostly on the feelings of the guest, in this case, Gingrich. …
