Man, do we have power

The Daily Record endorsed the re-election of Morristown Mayor Donald Cresitello and he promptly lost by almost  2-1.  And we know people saw it, because the Cresitello campaign distributed the editorial  door to door.

So Tim Dougherty better watch out.  We just may endorse him this fall and then he’ll be in trouble.  🙂

Mr.editor, Your pick of mayor donnie c. was ok.
You made your pick after you spoke with both of these men. You are no fool. You know what is going on. You were 100% fair. It was experience over what the other man offered. Which I still cant get a handle on.
In the Fall I presume you will talk to the men running for mayor and give us an honest reasoning.Good job.

  2. cat on a hot tin roof says:

Fred, it doesn’t really matter who you endorse. You didn’t report all of the stuff that people talked about online about the dougherty scandals that took place. you nmade the right choice in your endorsement but people only voted for tim because they knew that he would easily lose to jim in novemver. Jim Gervasios going to be our next mayor because no one will forget what happened.

  3. Some of the stuff online could not be reported because it was not substantiated

  4. republicanconservative says:

It is obvious what happened. Jim Gervasio is going to be our next mayor by a landslide. Morristown is a conservative town. And 1100 or so brainwashed voters will eaily be overtaken by Jim and his team. At least everyone will be wearing vote 4 jim tshirts for sure! lol

  5. ChubbyPaul says:

Fred, I told you after the debate that you totally missed the whole emotion of the debate! This was only a shocking result to those that are not in the know!

  6. cat on a hot tin roof says:

fred…what about the stuff that could have been substanttiated…aren’t reporters supposed to look into stuff and uncover things? all this nastiness and no one bothering to look into the reason why dougherty fought so hard to just smear when he had no platform…to deflect everyone from what was going on…and what about the elec filings…we will hear about this in december after the november election?

  7. yes,. but keep in mind we endorse the person we think should win. The likelihood of him winning is not considered. I still think Cresitello was the better candidate … But then again, I thought George McGovern (my political idol as a youth) was better than Richard Nixon, which of course he was. What is my point? 🙂

  8. ChubbyPaul says:

You are forgiven! But please no more mistakes

  9. A Better World says:

I wouldn’t even waste my time with all those filings. That information is useless except to Dougherty who will end up paying penalities for that and his house. The real issue is to get Jim Gervasio into office. And I don’t foresee that to be a problem at all. Morristown citizens knew what they were doing. Donald Cresitello changed to Democrat just a couple years back. And people changed to Democrat for him in this election. They will change back for Jim. And bring their friends to the polls in November to keep Morristown beautiful and honest.
At the debate, Jim was very cool from his spectator seat because he knew that he would have a great opportunity if Tim Won this. Watch what happens.

  10. arealdemocrat says:

I assume Cresitello will reinvent / resurrect himself somehow and will be a plague afflicting the Town yet again, probably as part of the Gervasio administration – (Director of Redevelopment ?)

  11. A Better World says:

Dougherty reinvented himself and became a plague. Perhaps its time to fight fire with fire.
