Reaching for the stars?

That’s the latest piece for Morristown mayoral candidate Tim Dougherty .. He says, “We are reaching for the stars and we need your help to do it.”

He’s asking people to volunteer for his campaign on election day, June 2.

Reaching for the stars? And you thought he was merely seeking the Democratic mayoral nomination.

Have you seen the mailing Cresitello sent out today?
It’s better to reach for the stars than to reach for the the gutter the way DC is doing!!!

  2. Hogwash says:

If you ever saw Cresitello in the at the senior housing you would want volenteers to watch over him

  3. Edward France says:

Did not see the flyer, but I would like to hear any plans concerning property tax reform. I am sure others would as well.
Many residents in Morristown seek some relielf. This is an important issue.
What about sharing services with Morris Township, and Morris Plains? What about waste in the budget? What about the lawsuits that seem to always be comimg up?
How will the taxpayers be helped? Can we hear some solutions?
How about a flyer with a “nuts and bolts” outline, that includes a plan for a “more affordable” Morristown?
    Where is that flyer?

  4. Has it really come to this? Politicians feel that smear campaigns and hatred is going to get people to support them. As for the Mayoral Candidates on both sides if either one could lead then they would be able to control their teams and tell them that they want to focus on the issues. We are all well aware of the Mayors platform and I agree many of us are not supportive. What is the Dougherty Team campaigning on? One candidate seems to have worked hard for Morristown while the other lives in another town and admits he is wet behind the ears. If all three win will they remain loyal to the Bars that paid for their campaign? The Dougherty Camp pushing free drinks on people to get them to vote for them is just sheer ignorance.

I urge the residents of Morristown to not pay attention to any of them and launch a write in campaign for Scott Whitenack, he is the only one that can run this town the way it needs to be. Dougherty and Cresitello are both gutter crawlers for allowing all of this to go on.

  5. oh please says:

Wow – that’s a nifty trick… a write in campaign for Scott. LOL
Clearly you are tying to draw voters from Dougherty. Too funny.

    To Ed France:
    You ask good questions…
where is the budget? Answer: Cresitello wont deliver it till after the election.

sharing services? Answer: Great – maybe if our mayor wouldn’t YELL at the neighbors, we’d get somewhere on this

ah… and then there’s the lawyers… under our mayor i think we’ve shelled out close to 1.5 M to out of town firms …

don’t know about you – but i’m hoping for change.
