The latest poll

Rasmussan reports that Chris Christie holds a 39 to 29 percent lead over Steve Lonegan in the race for the Republican gubernatorial nomination.

That’s a nice lead, but do the math and you see there are a lot of undecideds

Come on are you kidding me a ten point lead in a three man race and you call it close. The internal polls show a twenty five point lead but that is not going to convince you Christie is the real deal and Lonegan is the sloganmister.

  2. TaxedToDeath says:

“Real Deal” Christie wouldn’t enforce immigration law. He and his liberal buddy Stu Rabner will pick up right where Corzine leaves off, running what’s left of NJ into the ground.

I cannot believe that a story about John Murphy endorsing candidate Chris Christie is not reported in your newspaper or even on this blog. John Murphy came in third in a race of 7 candidates for governor and his endorsement is not news worthy, come on. Even if John was just a Freeholder in Morris County, that should have been enough to report his endorsement of Chris. I have never seen you so remiss and bias, has the Daily Record been asking for bailout money for the Obama administration and one of the conditions is working to get Corzine re-elected. I am disappointed.

Lonegan is going to deport all the illegals, right? Just like he is going to get the unions to give back binding arbitration, just like he is going to do away with the Abbot districts, and COAH, and the department of Community Affairs and the DEP. Than he is going to plant some magic beans and a giant bean stock will grow, you know the rest of the story. You Loonigans need to wake up and smell the taxes. We all despise abortion and love our guns, but we should understand that it is going to take much more than Lonegan’s slogans to fix NJ. Running a town the size of Bogotá in no way the same as running the state of NJ.

NJ residents looked to Christie to enforce immigration laws. That was part of his job. You know, the one that he crows about all the time.

But Christie did no such thing. He claimed he needed “guidance”. A real leader doesn’t need guidance to do the right thing, particularly when it comes to enforcing the law.

How many towns, even the size of Bogota, has Christie run? He was voted out of office as Freeholder after one term.
